A passionate world traveler, Marie Michele draws inspiration from the people, cultures, flavors, and traditions she encounters around the globe. Her travels continue to deepen her appreciation for cultural preservation and the universal power of food to bring people together. Whether through a meal, a book, a product, or a shared experience, Marie Michele’s mission remains the same: To preserve our stories, celebrate our heritage, and inspire future generations to remain connected to their roots.
Why PRESERV?
PRESERV was born from a deeply personal journey.
I left Haiti when I was very young and never had the opportunity to return. Over the years, the memories I carried from childhood became increasingly precious to me.
Through food, those memories stayed alive.
The recipes, traditions, conversations, and family moments I remembered became a way to reconnect with my roots, my culture, and the people who helped shape me.
What began as a desire to preserve recipes became something much larger. It became a way to preserve stories, culture, resilience, and identity.
Today, PRESERV serves as a bridge between food, storytelling, education, community, and cultural heritage.
